Hey, friends you know every weekend I like to share a good recipe that I’ve tried and loved for you to add in your regimen too. I love a delicious and flavorful meal but I also like how romantic a breakfast can be when you put all your passion and the right measurements for the recipes.
There is something cute and almost magical with setting a nice table for breakfast(with juice, fruits, some yogurt, some coffee, some milk and even some candles)… while receiving the sunrise at 6 am….. that sounds almost romantic even if you’re eating alone!
All of that can add to your happiness, I’m telling you!
This weekend i will share another healthy breakfast recipe using a friendly ingredients that has a lot of protein, vitamins and minerals: It’s oatmeal.
Starting a day with oatmeal is very beneficial for your health and even your mood. Let’s see some benefits of eating oatmeal.
Benefits of eating oatmeal:
An easy, tasty and very creative recipe that I’ve recently discovered. The flour is sometimes too much and my husband, trying to find an healthier way to make the classic french toast had the great idea to substitute the all purpose flour to oatmeal flour. And it came out a delicious, out of the ordinary and yummy french toast.
Oatmeal is full of proteins, vitamins, nutrients that are very beneficial to your health. It contains a powerful fiber and is rich in antioxidants. It can help control your cholesterol and blood sugar level. So, incorporating this amazing, healthy and nutritious grain to your diet can help you in many ways.
Other people may have tried it, but we’ve decided to do our own thing based on our experience for this recipe. So, I hope you will enjoy it with your loved ones.
Let’s get started!!! Ow by the way, I like to grind real oatmeal instead of using the powder in my recipes. That way, I know I’m using pure oatmeal and it hasn’t been processed or anything like that. When hubby decided to try this recipe for the first time, I told him it wouldn’t be as good as a classic french toast. But, as soon as I tasted it I had to admit that he had one of the best idea ever! So thank you, hubby!
Ight…… Enough talking now!
Don’t forget some orange juice!

Step 2- Whisk eggs, milk, oatmeal flour, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, nutmeg, salt in a bowl and mix well. Melt, 1/2 teaspoon of butter in a large pan on medium heat and dipp each bread in the mixture. Let the excess drip, put in the pan and cook for about 2 to 4 minutes or until golden brown on each side. Then, keep doing the same with remaining mixture.
